·         Application for permits may be made a PNG Overseas Missions or where there is no PNG presence, the nearest Australian Overseas Mission or Jacksons International Airport, Port Moresby. Tourist Entry Permits are valid for sixty (60) days.

Tourist Entry Permit Extensions

TOURIST YACHTSMAN ENTRY PERMIT

·         Special entry permits are issued for yachtsmen (owner/captain of yacht) and are valid for 60 days. an extension of 30 days is possible upon application   to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade.

·         The crew of yachts are treated as visitors and are provided with Tourist Entry Permits valid for 60 days. An extension of 30 days is possible upon application to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

 

INFO- COM FOR JOURNALIST/REPORTERS

·         Special entry permits are necessary for journalists/reporters wishing to enter PNG and are valid for 60 days.
